The same God that created the sun, the earth, the oceans, the mountains, the sky and all of it’s majesty, is the same God that knows you and i personally. Just think about that, and its mind boggling. God is so big, He is everywhere at once. At the same time God is so small, he gives the baby the instinct to cry when something is wrong. A bird knows how and when to fly south, yet has never been taught that skill in education. An army of ants have never taken a class in architecture, yet how do they they build houses so perfectly? Turtles never took a self defense class, yet know instinctively how to protect themselves by going in their shells when danger lurks. A fish has never had any formal education or sat in a classroom, yet knows if it gets on dry land to flip and flop it’s way back into the water the sustains life. Do we have enough sense to flip and flop our way back into the living water that Jesus talks about to sustain life? My question is, are you smarter than a fish? Truth is, this whole science vs religion argument is not as complicated as people make it. Here is the truth evident in scripture: God created science and gave his creations the instincts they have. The bible talks about God’s divine power and eternal attributes, and how it is manifested through nature and His creations. Think about what makes more sense: A big universal explosion where nothing hit nothing, made a big bang and created everything in perfect order including instincts that have not been formally taught on one side. On the other side, a holy all righteous, all powerful, all knowing, all mighty God that not only created everything, but gave every living being instincts and set in motion the order of everything. How does the ocean know where to stop? How are planets and stars out there being hung up by nothing, yet they do not fall? How does the day know when to become night, and the night day? This is a no brainer in my opinion. I’m going with God. Question is: are you smarter than a fish?

Your blog is very interesting and thought provoking! Thank-you for your insight. As for me, I’d like to think I’m smarter than a fish!

Very interesting. I can’t even begin to understand how someone could believe that a bing bang happened vs An almighty God!! When I look around I see evidence of God everywhere.
