Poem- The amusement park of life

So I stroll from line to line going out of my mind/

Searching for excitement, so exhilarating and thrilling/

Yet as I move from ride to ride to see what else I can find/

It seems to be that same existing, same ordinary feeling/

Why does every game I play I lose right after I pay?/

Seems like I never seem to win any of the prizes these days/

The food is all the same, the games I use up all of my tokens/

Most of the time I’m idle bored without a glimmer of hope/

So I conclude why waste my time trying to find the right ride?/

If I still feel the same then why move from side to side?/

Every rollercoaster does generally the same motion/

When I divide the results, generally the same quotient/

Until one day when blind, Jesus said just open your eyes/

It’s not about the games, the food, the fun and various rides/

Life’s not a rollercoaster contrary to popular belief/

This life we live is more of an amusement park so to speak.
