Well y’all, I’ve been at it for a year now! I genuinely appreciate all of you that support me as your neighborhood hope dealer. It’s a lot of hard work and time writing these songs, linking up with producers, etc. This truly is my ministry for God y’all. I do this to help and serve my fellow man. I don’t get paid for this. Every like, comment, share, subscriber, prayer, and encouragement means the world to me! There are days I wonder if I should quit, if it’s worth it all. Then I remember that God gave me this assignment back when we were in full lockdown, to provide hope to a lost world through Christian Hip-Hop. Today is my one year anniversary. If your heart is inclined and you would like to sow into my ministry to touch more people, my cash app is $Vintageretroman83. If not no worries, just send up a prayer for me. Love you all- YOUR Neighborhood Hope Dealer! 😃🎵🎤
Have you all heard of the Collab app? I joined last week and it’s amazing! It’s a great place to connect and jam with others artists for free online. See the link below of a jam session and feel free to join! As you all know I love to sing, rap, and make music but even if you just like to watch local artists of every genre, this is an excellent app.
Super Smash Bro. Ultimate crosses over into encouraging Hip-Hop on “Lifelight, The Fellowship Anthem” remastered! Enjoy!
Hi, it’s Chuck. I have an encouraging YouTube channel called “Vintage Retroman” where I post encouraging videos and my own original Christian music to help people. If you have 10 seconds today, I’d really appreciate you subscribing to my channel and hitting the “bell” notification for new videos. All of my content is free. God bless you!
My kids and I made this song for my mom/their grandma for her birthday on 03/19, and then we thought….this may be a vibe for anyone celebrating a birthday! A birthday is a blessing from God, so why not have fun with it? Enjoy!
Many of you know me as “Your Neighborhood Hope Dealer”, serving up hope to all of those in need through music, poetry, and encouraging writing. What many people don’t know are the battles I face daily, working to overcome. I keep a lot in because my nature is to help others, not complain. Because that is not right to do, I’ve decided to start a new series of short writings entitled, “Moments of Transparency” to get more personal with my audience. This is the first installment, “Testimony Time”. Enjoy!
Report from my doctor’s visit: All of my bloodwork came back excellent, praise God! After being in and out of doctor’s offices, urgent care facilities, and emergency rooms 6 times in the past 8 month’s, it has been a ride with my health. They contributed my spikes in blood pressure and panic attacks to my GAD diagnosis (General Anxiety Disorder), hereditary factors, stress mainly driven by fear of Covid-19, fear of family/friend loss, oversaturation of social media, and other external and subconscious factors. I was advised to continue to meet with my mental health therapist, do meditations daily, breathing exercises, yoga, and self care. My mind had my body in a state of panic, and the physical effects of that are so real! I wrote all of this to say that mental health is so important y’all. It put into perspective for me why Christ said “Do not worry about your life” in Matthew 6. Why Paul said “Do not conform to the patterns of thinking of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” in Romans 12. Moral of the story.. Give it to God and protect your mental state. This is my testimony. Praising God for His grace and mercy on my mind, body, and soul! 🙌🏾
Much of my music has a serious tone, so my daughter and I made a fun Christian Hip-Hop song called “Some Real Talk”, straight out of Jamestown NC. We used a sample in the music from “Paper Mario” for Nintendo, produced by Raisi K. Enjoy!
My newest song is a tribute to all of those that have been affected by COVID-19, as today is the one year anniversary of the pandemic. To those that sacrifice daily…this is our way of saying thank you. Check out “The Front Lines” when you have a moment, and share it with any front line workers or patients when you have a moment. God bless- Your Neighborhood Hope Dealer
